IPL 2017: After Ashish Nehra being ruled out, Yuvraj Singh could follow suite!

IPL 2017, SRH v KKR: Nehra ruled out is already a big setback for a team that boasts big on their bowling unit and by the looks of it Yuvraj Singh could follow suite

Yuvraj Singh’s participation in Eliminator 2 is doubtful is the latest we are getting. Tomorrow two giants lock-horns to get a step closer to the IPL crown and by the looks of it Ashish Nehra is already ruled out of the remainder of the league. Sunrisers Hyderabad is a team that is looking in good shape and rhythm. They take on a side that has not been at their best in the last two games. Hence, KKR will be a team susceptible before the eliminator.

Nehra ruled out is already a big setback for a team that boasts big on their bowling unit. They have the purple cap holder, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is in red-hot form. Apart from him there is Rashid Khan who is also reaping the goods.

Tom Moody, the head coach of SRH spoke to a website and said, “Yuvraj will be undergoing a fitness test this evening. We’ll be giving him every opportunity to prove his fitness. At this stage, we’re reasonably confident.”

He also spoke of balance of his team compared to last year and spoke of SRH’s chances against KKR, he said, “Got a lot of fond memories. But comparing last year with this year. These are completely different circumstances. Different balance to our side. KKR have got different personnel and are playing a different style, with Lynn and Narine at the top.”

Nehra will not play because of a hamstring injury. There are still question marks hovering over Yuvraj Singh’s participation as of now.
