IPL 2017: Shane Watson will CAPTAIN Royal Challengers Bangalore in Virat Kohli's absence

Indian Premier League 2017: It seems Australian allrounder Shane Watson would be marshaling the RCB troops in Virat and AB de Villiers absence

We hope Brad Hodge is keeping a keen eye on all the Virat Kohli updates. Brad Hodge, head coach Gujarat Lions had earlier said that Virat Kohli was not playing the Dharamsala decider because apparently he was trying to stay fit for the Indian Premier League 10. But that is not the case, Virat Kohli’s shoulder injury is actually not permitting him to play the first half of the cash-rich league. With news pouring in, it seems Australian allrounder Shane Watson would be marshaling the RCB troops in Virat and AB de Villiers absence. Only time will tell how the loss of big players will affect the southern franchisee.

But, of course, Virat Kohli will be present in the dressing room and that is bound to help the youngsters who will be nervous, thanks to the big occasion. Royal Challengers Bangalore have never won the tournament though they have had some of the biggest names of the game like Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Mitchell Starc and Yuvraj Singh and many more have come under flak for not winning it. It reminds you of a star-studded France team which lost to Senegal in the very first game of the Football World Cup.

The Indian Premier League 10 kicks off tomorrow amidst a lot of frenzy. This is like a festival season in a cricket-loving country where IPL is like a month-long festival. Well, inUth is the place you have to tune in to, to stay one-step up on the IPL coverage.
