Welcome to inUth’s live digital coverage of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017’s Match 24 between Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium, Pune. As far as IPL standings are concerned, RPS have to be tagged as minnows as they are on the 7th spot with 2 wins from 6 matches. On the other hand, SRH side are currently placed at No.2 spot in standings with 4 wins out of 6 games.

Getting game ready.

RPS side will need an overseas batsman to fill in as their captain Steve Smith has taken a 6-day break to Dubai with his family. Ajinkya Rahane is most likely to captain the side in absence of Smith. MS Dhoni too has got into the groove if we consider his inning in the previous match hitting a gigantic six out of the stadium. Last time around they were able to defend a lowly score, they will be looking to do the same and move up the ladder in the standings.

On the other hand, SRH will be looking to continue their dominance. Warner is in form keeping aside the previous game. Kane Williamson coming back to the side has boosted their batting lineup, he scored a valiant 89 in his first IPL 10 game. He will be expected to display a similar batting effort against RPS as well. Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan too need to fire up the order as their batting lacks depth.

SRH’s bowling has been outstanding with Bhuvnehswar Kumar soaking all the pressure and bowling in death overs alongside youngster Siddharth Kaul. Rashid Khan’s 4 overs will be crucial as he has been their breakthrough bowlers in the tournament so far.
