Imran Tahir was initially not picked by any team in the auctions and that was surprising as he is the best limited overs bowler in the world. Rising Pune Supergiant finally got Tahir onboard and one has to admit that was the best selection they did as Tahir has been a boon for the team. Today they are playing Rising Pune Supergiant who need to win to solidify their standings at the points table. GL won the toss and opted to bowl first. RPS were looking good but that is when Tahir was introduced into the attack and then he did what he does best. He picked up 3 wickets and kept a lid on the score. Tahir gave away only 27 runs in 4 overs and that is what pegged back GL.
