Here's how Zaheer Khan, fiance Sagarika Ghatge celebrated Delhi Daredevils' 10th anniversary!

Zaheer Khan recently took the internet by fire by announcing his engagement with Sagarika Ghatge on Twitter during IPL 2017

Zaheer Khan recently announced his engagement with fiance Sagarika Ghatge and stunned everyone. Zaheer recently made his first public appearance with Sagarika after the announcement as they attended Delhi Daredevils’ (DD) 10th-anniversary celebrations on May 8. Zaheer and Sagarika have been spotted in various party and celebrations and were rumoured to be together for several years. The couple attended Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech’s wedding as well where another talked-about couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were present.

Sagarika is well known for his work in superhit movie Chak de India, in which she played the role of a hockey forward. She was brought to fame by her work alongside Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and other debutants.

Zaheer has been leading the DD side from Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. He recently suffered a hamstring injury which kept him out of the side for a few matches and probably one of the reasons for DD’s early exit from the tournament. DD would not be able to qualify for the IPL 2017 playoffs by any permutation or combination applied.

DD have had a forgettable IPL 2016 whereas they missed out of IPL 2016 playoffs by a whisker. DD suffered a humiliating loss at the hands of Mumbai Indians as they bundled out for their lowest score of 66, in an attempt to chase down a mammoth score of 213 and that too at their own home ground, Feroz Shah Kotla.

Despite DD’s poor performance, Zaheer has proved to be one of the finest bowlers in the league being a 38-year-old medium-fast bowler. Zaheer has still perfected the art of bowling knuckleball and keeping the batsman guessing. Though, speculations are that he might retire from all forms of cricket in an attempt to settle down.
