Finally, the day has come when Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are going lock horns for the last time in the tenth season of Indian Premier League (IPL). It’s the final which will be played at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. It will be a fair chance for Rohit Sharma to win the title for the third time while Steven Smith will be playing the finals for the first time in IPLs. And a day ahead of this power-packed face-off, both Rohit Sharma and Steven Smith spoke to the media personnel regarding the competition.

Rohit Sharma spoke about Mumbai’s poor track record against Pune and said,”We have not ha a great history against Pune. They have been playing some really good cricket throughout the tournament. It’s just that we were not good on those days. That’s probably the reasons we lost the game.”

To the same question, Pune skipper Steven Smith replied,”Obviously, we can take a little bit of confidence from that. In the end, finals cricket is finals cricket and it comes down to that game and who plays best on that day.”
