The crowd of people which was chanting KKR-KKR then, altered their tone and started taking Pant's name in unison

In the current season of the Indian Premier League, the Delhi Daredevils (DD) under the leadership of Zaheer Khan has exhibited a top class performance so far. Presently, they are acquiring the 3rd position in the points tally and have won 2 games out of the 3 they have played till now. Moreover, the bunch of young talents in the Delhi squad are setting new benchmarks in this competition. Earlier, Sanju Samson became the first batsman to score the first century of IPL 10 and in the game number 18 against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Feroz Shah Kotla, another young face, Rishabh Pant, displayed his heroics.

After winning the toss, DD came into bat and had a splendid start. It was the 17th over of the first innings when Umesh Yadav was deployed by Gautam Gambhir to deliver the over and Rishabh Pant was the batsman who got the strike. The very first ball of the over was an excellent one though, but what happened in the rest of the 5 balls would surely haunt in future. Right from the second ball, Pant turned on the ‘beast mode’ and sent every delivery outside the fence. After the finish of the over, the figures were—0, 6, 4, 6, 6, 4.

A total of 26 runs coming off the over were enough to ruin economy of Umesh Yadav then. With this phenomenal stint of Rishabh pant, Delhi Daredevils managed to put a competitive  score of 168 runs on the board after losing 7 wickets and a target if 169 for the KKR to chase.

Well, there is no doubt that Rishabh Pant stole the show today. The crowd of people which was chanting KKR-KKR then, altered their tone and started taking Pant’s name in unison. Meanwhile, the Twitterati also hailed the stunner from Pant and expressed themselves withing 140 character limit.
