In the historical 500th Test match at the Green Park stadium in Kanpur, India were all out for 318 in the 1st innings, in reply New Zealand were all out for 262. In the second innings, India managed to score 377/5 before declaring. New Zealand needed 434 runs to win the Kanpur test, but the Kiwis notched up just 93 runs for the loss of four wickets at stumps Day 4, thus needing 341 runs more to oust their counterparts. India on the other hand, needs six wickets to emerge as the victors.
