From Delhi slums to Jamaica, India's own Usain Bolt, Nisar Ahmed!

Nisar Ahmed is currently preparing for Commonwealth Games 2018

Son of a rickshaw puller Nisar Ahmed went against all odds to break two national records (Under-16) and registered the best time in 100 metre (10.76 seconds) and 200 metre (21.73 seconds) sprint. Nisar made headlines in September 2017 and all of a sudden Bada Bagh area of Azadpur, Delhi became a common spot for media trying to get an interview of the 15-year-old wonder kid.

Nisar wishes to win a medal in Commonwealth Games 2018. He is currently training in Chhatrasal Stadium, Delhi. He will be soon flying to Jamaica to train in Usain Bolt’s club – Racers Track Club in Kingston.
