Younis Khan Fulfills His Kiwi Fan’s Wish After 2 Years By Recording A Batting Tutorial — Watch

Younis Khan wins hearts of cricket fans beyond boundaries with his gesture towards a young Kiwi fan

Pakistan’s cricketing legend Younis Khan did the most beautiful thing one can do for a fan. Younis came across a handwritten letter from a fan from New Zealand who drew a sketch of him and asked for his batting tips. The 40-year-old did not want to disappoint his fan. First, he posted the photo of the message from his fan thanking him for the letter on April 25. Almost two weeks later, he posted a video as promised about teaching his now 12-year-old fan Felix Anderson on how to play a cover drive and a cut shot.

Here are the tweets posted by Younis –

Dear Felix, thank you for this sweet letter. I know this is almost two years old, but it only came across me now. I will surely make a small video to give you some tips as you requested pic.twitter.com/Mhaz5nTsfn

Cricket knows no boundaries and brings people closer. The reply from Younis is surely winning the internet. Like other cricketers, Younis does not have millions of followers on Twitter and his account is not even verified but it managed to strike a chord among cricket fans. He got praises from his followers for his heart-warming gesture –

Power of social media and technology. Well done Younis Khan i am sure Felix will remember for the rest of his life your sound advice.
