Though the match-winning six by Grant Elliot was the main reason for the Lahore Qalandars to erupt in happiness, his act of dropping the bat became an unforgettable incident.

In a PSL match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United, Elliot’s 26-run knock off 17 balls turned out to be the game changer. While chasing a target of 146 runs, Qalandars have lost 9 wickets and they needed 6 runs from last balls. The Kiwi all-rounder hit a gigantic six to wrap up the game and drooped the bat signifying that the mission is accomplished.

It is a well-known fact that the West Indies cricketers can beat every other player when it comes to celebrating any particular moment during a game. Be it a wicket or a match victory, they always have some new item in their bag to present in front of the viewers.

In a PSL 2017 final between Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy, who was a fielding at the first slip, took a brilliant dive catch to dismiss Quetta Gladiators’ Hasan Khan. After grabbing the ball, he gathered all his teammates and pretended to take a group selfie. The Zalmis won the game by 58 runs and lifted the trophy.

4. Tabraiz Shamsi’s phone celebration in Carribean Premier League 2017

The incident happened during a CPL 2017 game when Kumara Sangakarra’s Jamaica Tallawahs were chasing 209 runs against the Chris Gyle led St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. On a delivery by Tabraiz Shamsi, Jamaica’s opener Glenn Phillips attempted a lofted shot towards the long-on region but was unfortunately caught by Shamarh Brooks.
