Watch! When Ravindra Jadeja bowled the 'Ball of the DECADE' to trick Steven Smith

India v Australia Ranchi: Jadeja bowls to Smith, he leaves the ball, hoping it would strike his pads, but it did not hit the pads but spun to bowled him

He first did his customary ‘talwarbazi’ on getting to his fifty and helping India get a handsome lead going into the last day at Ranchi. He has already picked up two wicket at the stroke of the end of the day’s play. Day 5 started and Australia played well in the first hour of the day, but then things went awry for the visitors. They lost Renshaw first to Ishant Sharma.

But the incident we are talking about is the ‘ball of the decade’, which saw the back of the best batsman in the world, Steven Smith was bowled to a delivery from Jadeja. Ravindra Jadeja was bowling over the wicket and he bowled it around the middle and leg stump. Smith left the ball, hoping it would strike his pads, but to Smith’s surprise it did not hit the pads but spun viciously to take the off stump on his way. That was the biggest wicket of the match. Smith stood between India’s win and a draw, with him back in the hut, Virat Kohli and his men would be fancying their chances to take a 2-1 unassailable lead in the 4-Test series. The next match is slated to be played in Dharamsala.

He has got the better of the Australian skipper thrice in six innings.
