This is as exclusive as it gets. Indian opener KL Rahul reveals on what exactly happens behind our eyes. He takes us on a tour through what exactly happens during the Indian net session. We get to know exactly the layers and processes the players undergo before the actual Test. Here is how India get things together. KL Rahul will know Bengaluru well as he is a local here and a lot of Indian fans will be hoping he comes to the party and does what he does best, get runs at a fast pace.
Rahul starts of initially with what happens first before they hit the nets. Apparently, Team India coach Anil Kumble and Sanjay Bangar chalk out who does what on a piece of pen and paper, which is kept beside the net for everybody to have access to it and understand who does what. Rahul revealed, he had just finished batting and the second group of batsman were getting ready which include Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane. These two batsman would dearly hope to be among the runs come second Test.
Rahul also explains there are three nets and Ishant and Hardik will bowl to Karun Nair. Apparently, Vijay also had his name in the bowlers list, who would be bowling next. Quite a lot was being spilled, we hope Darren Lehmann and Steve Smith do not have the eyes and ears for it.
We saw Murli Vijay hitting a few balls in the net from the middle of the ball.
