Virat Kohli turns 29 and Team India members celebrate by painting his face with cake -- See Photos

This was Virat Kohli's 9th birthday celebration after his debut in an ODI against Sri Lanka in 2008.

Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain has turned 29 today. Though the Men in Blue lost the 2nd T20I against New Zealand in Rajkot by 40 runs under his captaincy, they made sure that they treat their ‘Captain Fearless’ in the best possible way on his birthday. Once the team returned to their hotel, Kohli was greeted with a heart-winning celebration from his teammates. Probably, he could never forget the treatment he received as the members of Team India painted his face completely with the cake.

This moment of joy was well captured on camera and glimpses were shared on social media. The Indian cricket board, BCCI, took to its official Twitter handle and shared the pictures of Virat Kohli’s birthday bash in the team hotel.

Being heavily made-up in the cake icing, the Indian skipper looks young like a kid. Also, the other cricketers could be seen enjoying the party with their leader.
