Virat Kohli Appears In Bengal Class X Board Exams. Here's What Exactly Happened

Virat Kohli still continues to make headlines — this time in the form of a question in the West Bengal Class X board exams

Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli is currently resting away from international cricket, recuperating from the excessive workload. But even though he is spending some leisure time off the cricket field, he apparently did a cameo in the West Bengal Class X board exams!

Before your jaw drops to the ground let’s put an end to any speculation. Kohli didn’t actually appear in the exams physically but a question on him worth 10 marks was asked in the English exam. It was a compulsory question which asked the students to write a short profile based on the points mentioned in the question paper.

When this matter went public, the cricketer-turned-politician Lakshmi Ratan Shukla appreciated the move of the education board and asserted that Kohli’s life is a great inspiration for youngsters. As reported by the Financial Express, Shukla said,

“Besides being an icon, Kohli’s life is about dedication, hard work and discipline, which can be an example for students. I appreciate the gesture and I hope in future there will be questions on sporting icons not only in Madhyamik but other board examinations as well.”

Virat Kohli has undoubtedly has turned himself into a great cricketer in the contemporary era and has become a youth icon.
