Video: India vs Australia: We are READY, claims Cheteshwar Pujara

India vs Australia: In the press conference, Cheteshwar Pujara said that pitch will not bother them after we heard the curator say that it will offer pace

Well, in a press conference that happened minutes back, India’s number 3 Cheteshwar Pujara has said it loud and clear that ‘hosts are ready’. He is the man of the match from the Ranchi Test where he got a double and really set it up for India. In the press conference, he also said that pitch will not bother the hosts at all after we hear the curator say that it will offer pace. The series is locked at 1-1 and all eyes have shifted north to Dharamshala, which will host the decider of the Border-Gavaskar trophy. In the interview, he also spoke of other things like the team composition and all.

He also said, “They scored 450 odd but we played better to get 600 and then force them to bat again and then pick six wickets. So, looking at it the advantage is with nobody. India will come strong, so will they.”

The regimes have begun and there seems to be a lot of effort being put by both the teams to claim a stake in the Border-Gavaskar trophy.

He also added, “It is all about hard work, I started playing cricket at the age of 8. Then I got to play for my state at the age of 13, it has been a long journey but domestic cricket taught me a lot.”
