Tweeps Go Crazy As 'Captain Cool' MS Dhoni Shows Up At Toss Instead Of Rohit Sharma

The Boss is back!

It seems like Team India came up with the perfect solution to make one-sided matches interesting. Instead of Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni showed up for the toss and took everyone by surprise. As soon as the spectators realised that it was Dhoni walking out for the toss, the volume of the crowd’s cheers increased. With this, Dhoni became the first Indian and Asian captain to lead in 200 ODIs. His return as captain after 696 days is a treat to all the fans.

Here’s what the ‘Captain Cool’ had to say about his captaincy double century at the toss,

“I was not really sure of where I am standing. I have captained 199 ODIs, so this gives me an opportunity to make it 200. It’s all destiny and I have always believed in that. It’s not in my control, once I left captainship. Good to complete 200, but I don’t think it really matters.”

Soon enough Dhoni became the top trend on Twitter as fans expressed their excitement on seeing him back:
