Sourav Ganguly apologises to Harbhajan Singh for calling his daughter a boy!

The incident came into limelight after Harbhajan Singh posted a picture on his Twitter handle

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly on November 20 apologised to ‘Turbanator’ Harbhajan Singh for mistaking his daughter, Hinaya for a boy. Harbhajan captioned the image as: “Satnam Shri waheguru ji…sab nu khush te tandrust rakhna malka…”

The picture immediately got Ganguly’s attention and he was quick to give his wishes to Harbhajan’s family. Ganguly replied on Harbhajan’s picture and wrote: “Beta bahut sundar hai bhajj(i)..bahut pyar dena. (Your son is very beautiful Bhajji, give him lots of love).”

Soon, Ganguly realised his mistake and rectified it by posting another tweet. This time Ganguly wrote: “Maf karna beti bahut sundoor hai..getting old bhajj(i)… (I apologise! Your daughter is very beautiful. I am getting old Bhajji.)

Immediately, Harbhajan thanked his former captain for the wishes and replied:
