India’s stand-in captain Rohit Sharma congratulated Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on their wedding which took place on December 11. Rohit advised the Bollywood actress to keep her surname post-marriage via a tweet which he posted on December 12.

Virat-Anushka got married in Tuscany, Italy. Photos and videos of their wedding rituals have been making rounds on the internet. While the Indian skipper was away from due to his wedding, Rohit has been captaining the Indian side in the limited overs series against Sri Lanka.
After facing a humiliating defeat in the first ODI at Dharamsala, Rohit led the team by example and went on to score his third ODI double century in Mohali ODI and helped India level the series 1-1. Anushka congratulated Rohit for his splendid innings.
