Mahendra Singh Dhoni has made our country proud every time when he has donned the Indian jersey. He is unarguably the best Indian captain to lead the team across all the formats. We have witnessed his dedication towards his game and performance on the cricket field. But off the field, he is indeed a gem of a person. Recently, an interesting fact about him was revealed on the social media which gave his fans and followers a reason to respect and admire him more.
Back in February 2015, when Team India was in Australia to play the ICC World Cup and Dhoni was the captain, Dhoni was blessed with a baby girl whom he later named Ziva. People know that Dhoni didn’t return home to see his family but chose to be with the team as they were to play the first warm-up against Australia.
In a newly released book, written by renowned Indian journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, it has been revealed that Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Rawat had to call Suresh Raina to share the good news. Dhoni didn’t carry a mobile phone thus he came to know about her daughter through Raina.
