Pic: MS Dhoni's 'god-like' gesture will make you salute him

Vijay Hazare Trohy JKDvVD: But what caught the attention is a moment when a crazy fan breached the security and went to MSD to get his priceless autograph

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is nothing short of a demi-god in India and this gesture of his will ascertain the fact further. Hailing from the backwaters of cricket Jharkhand, MS Dhoni has achieved all that could be achieved as the captain of India. There have been many moments the Ranchi rambo has given us that have become part of the cricketing folklore. Let it be an enthusiastic girl-fan kissing in Kolkata or his latest antic.

MS Dhoni was playing the quarter finals of the Vijay Hazare trophy against Vidarbha. MSD, as he is popularly known, took his state to the semi finals of the coveted tournament by hitting a trademark six straight back down-town. But what caught the attention is a moment when a crazy fan breached the security and entered the ground, and sprinted toward the playing area, towards MSD to get his priceless autograph.

In fact, when he walked out to bat at the Palam Ground, the crowd was just starting to build but when the word of mouth spread, the people started flocking into the stadium in numbers to get a glimpse of their hero. That is the brand value the most successful Indian captain still enjoys.

If you have watched his biopic, you will realise the incident was like the same that happened at the Palam Ground an hours drive from Delhi. The way the crowd poured in, in numbers. Surreal, one may say, but with Dhoni that is not out of the question.
