MS Dhoni scores an under pressure 65 against Sri Lanka, Twitterati hail him as 'One Man Army'

A score of 112 would be easy to chase for the Sri Lankan team, but it is cricket and who knew that the men in blue would collapse in such a manner

MS Dhoni scored a 50 under tough conditions with backs to the wall against Sri Lanka in the 1st ODI Dharamsala. Dhoni was the last man to depart on 65, but he had by then saved India the blushes by going past India’s lowest total of 54, which also happened against the same opposition. India finally made it to a score of 112, which is not at all big by any stretch of the imagination. India was 29 for 7 at one stage and then to score 112 takes some getting with the bowlers totally on top at all times of the match.

None of the Indian top 5 got into double-digit scores, with debutante Shreyas Iyer scoring highest among them 9 runs. Dinesh Karthik became part of an unwanted record, he took 18 balls to get out for a duck, which is the highest by an Indian. Shikhar Dhawan also did not get off the mark.
