Mayanti Langer finally gets to interview Stuart Binny during a live match as the latter make their wedding anniversary special with a quickfire innings

It was a perfect wedding anniversary for Indian cricketer Stuart Binny and Star Sports presenter Mayanti Langer. Binny struck the purple patch on his special day as he went on to score 87 runs from 46 balls hitting 8 fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 189.13. The day became even more special as he got interviewed by his wife Mayanti for the first time on television. Binny was happy as he had got a big score on the board for Belagavi Panthers, the biggest of the season as they scored 192 for 7.

After the first innings, Binny mentioned to Mayanti in the interview that it is a special day for him. Mayanti blushed for a split second as she kept the interview professional asking Binny on what he thinks about getting the biggest total of the season so far. The question was followed by how they will be approaching the Bengaluru Blasters when they come out to chase.

As the interview got over there was a hint of blush on Mayanti’s face as she must be proud of Binny’s quick fire innings as he rescued his team from 4 for 32 and take them to a big score. The commentators mentioned that it is wedding anniversary of the couple informing their viewers about it.

The day became even more special for Binny on the cricket field as he opened the bowling attack of Belagavi Panthers. Binny got the wickets of two middle order batsman and also pulled off the run out of set opening batsman M Vishwanathan who scored 65 runs from 35 balls, hammering the bowlers for 2 fours and 5 sixes.

Binny also posted a photo on Instagram expressing his love for Mayanti on their special day

Belagavi Panthers won the match quite easily in the end as they were able to bundle out Bengaluru Blasters for 169. They won by a margin of 23 runs and Binny was adjudged the ‘Man of the Match’ for his all-round performance.
