Irfan Pathan shares emotional video on India's inaugural World T20 win. A must watch for all fans | WATCH

It is a moment no cricket fan from India can forget, also important the time at which the win came, just after India lost the cricket World Cup

Who can forget Misbah-ul-Haq playing an unsuccessful ‘dilscoop’ only to find Sreesanth at short fine leg! India had created history by winning the inaugural World T20, in South Africa. The win was even sweeter because the big stars like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid were not in the squad and it was led by an inexperienced Mahendra Singh Dhoni. No one gave India a chance after they had an early exit in the 2007 cricket World Cup in West Indies. Misbah’s mistake in calculation helped India win the trophy. India had scored 157 and bundled out Pakistan for 152 runs. It went down to the wire but a young team India held on their nerves to clinch the win.

Irfan Pathan, who was an integral part of that squad, spoke his heart via video on his Twitter. Ten years ago, on the very same day India won it, hence 24th September marks a complete decade. Irfan Pathan said, “It has been 10 years since we won the first T20 and there are some amazing memories of that great win. The most important memory we had after winning the tournament. When we came to India, that city called Mumbai stood still. We got a tremendous welcome. It will stay with us forever.”

In that very tournament, Yuvraj Singh hit six sixes off six balls. India also had a bowl out against Pakistan in the league stage. His brother, Yusuf Pathan, who too was a part of that winning team also joined his brother in reminiscing the moment. This is what he tweeted.

It was also an important win because it came just after India lost the 2007 cricket World Cup and the fans were gutting.
