IPL 2018: Virat Kohli's Reaction To AB de Villiers' Longest Six Is Priceless — WATCH

IPL 2018: Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli was left stunned after his teammate AB de Villiers smashed the longest six of the IPL season 2018

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli was left stunned after his teammate and South African captain AB de Villiers smashed the longest six of the Indian Premier League season 2018 during Match Number 24 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 25.

AB de Villiers (68 off 30; 4×2, 6×8), who came to bat at number 3, stitched a 103-run second wicket partnership with De Kock (53, 37 balls; 4×1, 6×4) to help their team post a mammoth 205/8 against MS Dhoni-led CSK.

De Villiers, during his 68-run stand, smashed CSK bowlers all around the park, hitting 8 sixes and just 2 fours.

In his knock, de Villiers even smashed the longest six of the IPL off CSK’s leading spin bowler Imran Tahir — 111 metres. South African batsman also smashed another CSK bowler Shardul Thakur for three consecutive sixes to bring up his half-century.

Earlier, Dhoni won the toss and opted to field against a struggling RCB.

Both the teams made a couple of changes, with Pawan Negi and Colin de Grandhomme being included in place of Manan Vohra and Chris Woakes for the hosts. CSK brought in veteran spinners Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahir in place of Karn Sharma and Faf du Plessis.

Brief Scores: Royal Challengers Bangalore 205/8 (AB de Villiers 68, Quinton de Kock 53; Mandeep Singh 32; Imran Tahir 2/35) vs Chennai Super Kings.
