IPL 2018: This Is What Sakshi Said To Dhoni From Stands During RCB vs CSK Clash — WATCH

IPL 2018: Chasing a massive total of 206 runs, Dhoni blasted seven sixes as Chennai Super Kings won with five wickets and two deliveries to spare

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni silenced his critics in style after he played an unbeaten knock of 70 runs off just 34 balls to guide his team to register a five-wicket win over Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 25.

With this victory, CSK replaced Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at the top of the Indian Premier League 2018 points table with 5 wins under their belt in 6 outings so far.

Chasing a massive total of 206 runs, Dhoni was at his explosive best, blasting seven sixes as the visitors won with five wickets and two deliveries to spare.

To witness the thrilling encounter between the two strong teams, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi was present in the VIP stands. During the game, Sakshi was seen cheering and giving high-fives after every six or boundary that Dhoni hit.

During the 19th over of CSK’s innings after Dhoni sent Mohammed Siraj over point for a six, Sakshi was even shouting ‘one more six’ from the stands.

Apart from Sakshi, Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, Suresh Raina’s wife Priyanka and Imran Tahir’s wife Sumayya Dildar were also present.

With 30 required off the last two overs, Chennai managed to accumulate 14 runs in the 19th over bowled by Mohammed Siraj to make the match another nail-biter.

A boundary and a huge six by Dwayne Bravo (14 not out) off the first two deliveries of the 20th over followed by a six by Dhoni sealed another win for Chennai in an edge-of-the-seat match.

Brief Scores: Royal Challengers Bangalore 205/8 (AB de Villiers 68, Quinton de Kock 53; Mandeep Singh 32; Imran Tahir 2/35) vs Chennai Super Kings 207/ 5 in 19.4 overs (Ambati Rayudu 82, MS 70 not out; Yuzvendra Chahal 2/26).
