IPL 2018, KKR vs DD, Match 13: Watch U-19 Sensation Shivam Mavi Rattle Gautam Gambhir's Stumps

IPL 2018, KKR vs DD: Kolkata Knight Riders lost their last two encounters hence they would be hoping for a change of tides

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are hosting Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Eden Gardens. But the spotlight is on DD captain Gautam Gambhir for obvious reasons. It was Gambhir who led KKR to the IPL title in 2012 and 2014 and hence he has great memories of the ground. He also seems to be a crowd favourite. That is why when Gambhir got out there was a sense of excitement among the crowd but it quietened down soon, as they realised their ex-hero had been dismissed. It was the young U-19 sensation Shivam Mavi who got the prized scalp of Gambhir. He bowled him for 8 runs. The 19-year-old Mavi has shown that though he can be zippy and pacy, he also has the slower ball in his arsenal.

Here is the video of the dismissal:

Earlier, Delhi Daredevils won the toss and Gambhir had no hesitation in opting to bowl first. But it was the brilliance of Rana (59) and Russell (41) because of whom KKR managed to put up a healthy 201 for Daredevils to chase. Tewatia was the pick of the bowlers — he scalped 3 wickets, all in the last over to help Daredevils go into the change of innings on a high.

But it seems that has not worked for them as Daredevils have already been reduced to 86 for 4 in 6 overs. That means they are on course to reach that target.

Kolkata Knight Riders lost their last two encounters hence they would be hoping for a change of tides, whereas Daredevils hope to win their second match on the trot.
