IPL 2018: Danielle Wyatt Comes Up With A Quirky Tweet For Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant & Others

Danielle Wyatt terms Indian Premier League as Indian #Breakthebeard league in her tweet

England opening batter Danielle Wyatt has been active on Twitter whether it is about posting a message or trying to troll someone. The ‘break the beard’ challenge has been a trend among players during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. Many prominent cricketers have attempted it in the ongoing season. The English opener posted a video of Hardik Pandya, Manish Pandey, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Shakib Al Hasan and Rishabh Pant attempting the challenges.

The 27-year-old recently played in the historic IPL Women T20 Challenge match between Supernovas and Trailblazers. She played under the leadership of India’s T20 skipper Harmanpreet Kaur. She opened the batting for Trailblazers alongisde Mithali Raj and scored 24 runs from 22 deliveries before losing her wicket to Poonam Yadav.

She shared a partnership of 47 runs for the first wicket helping her team get off to a decent start chasing a total of 130. She shared a video of her post practice session in the team bus grooving to the tunes of Punjabi music.

Wyatt had a good season touring India recently for the T20I and ODI series. She even scored a T20I century against India. The swashbuckling opener is also known for proposing to Indian skipper Virat Kohli via her tweet account a few years ago which is the reason for her popularity in India.
