IPL 2018 holds a lot of promise for our good old Bhajji. The 37-year-old India veteran spinner’s selection in Chennai Super Kings came as a surprise for many cricket fanatics.
Earlier, a video surfaced which (yet again) reveals that Harbhajan Singh is more than just a good bowler.
In order to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Harbhajan had released a music video called ‘Ek Suneha Part-2’. The occasion was the 87th anniversary of Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom. The first part of this song was released back in 2013.
While releasing the video, Bhajji said that the courage and bravery that Bhagat Singh carried within himself was unmatchable.
Here’s the video of the song sung by Harbhajan:
This is not the first time that Harbhajan has released a song. In July 2017, he sang a touching song dedicated to his mother. The song is known as ‘Meri Maa‘, written by Sanjay Glory and music has been given by Parveen Mehra.
Here’s the video:
Apart from cricket, Harbhajan Singh remains engaged in several other activities outside the sport. Though he has been ousted from the national team for quite a long while now, his fans eagerly watch him play in the IPL.
After playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) for almost a decade, it’s the first time that he will be playing any other franchise. He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings for Rs 2 crore which was his base-price. Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, he will surely be excited to play against his old team in the opening game of this season, ie, on April 7 at the Wankhede Stadium.
