Virat Kohli goes LOL watching Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma in a funny spot during first ODI

Both Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma successfully completed the run but Virat Kohli couldn't stop him laughing after watching this sudden concussion

Indian cricket team registered the biggest ever victory while chasing a target of 200 or more after they took down Sri Lanka in the first ODI of the bilateral series. Shikhar Dhawan set the ground ablaze with his batting performance. He scored a remarkable century and ended up scoring 132 runs off 90 balls and hit 20 fours and 3 sixes. His innings turned out to be the match winning and he also received the man of the match award for the same.

However, there was a moment during the game when Dhawan fumbled while taking a quick single. The incident happened after the first ball of the fifth over was bowled. Malinga delivered a full-length delivery to Rohit Sharma who gently drove the ball towards the straight. At the other end, Dhawan had his eye on the ball and as soon the mid-on fielder misfielded, he ran towards the batting end. There was a little miscommunication between Shikhar and Rohit and hence, Shikhar went back to his initial spot. But he was quick enough to turn around and reach the batting end.

Both the players successfully completed the run but the scenario turned out to be completely hilarious. Skipper Virat Kohli, who was watching the game on a TV set, couldn’t stop him laughing after watching this sudden concussion.

Later in the same over, Rohit Sharma lost his wicket while playing on 13 as he got run out. While taking a quick single off the last ball, he dropped his bat just before crossing the crease at the other end. The ball was fast enough to hit the stumps before Rohit ground his feet inside the crease.

Skipper Kohli then joined Dhawan in the run chase and their monstrous batting took the game far away from the Lankans. Kohli scored his 44th ODI and remained unbeaten till the end. India won the game by 9 runs and lead the series by 1-0.
