Shikhar 'Gabbar' Dhawan reveals his favourite actress, actor & movie. The answers will SHOCK you!

Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has hit the purple patch and is trying to stretch it for as long as possible, just like we saw him deliver in the blues in the first One Day International versus Sri Lanka. Shikhar Dhawan also picked up the man of the series award in the Tests, where he managed to score two breathtaking tons. It seems Shikhar Dhawan, who is married to Ayesha Mukherjee, has a newfound Bollywood crush.

In an interview with Cricket Today, Dhawan revealed that his favourite actor is Aamir Khan. In fact his mate, Virat Kohli also happens to be an Aamir Khan fan. The opener also revealed that his favourite actress is Kareena Kapoor Khan. Strangely, despite the two stars having acted in 3 Idiots, it is not the southpaw’s favourite film, Instead, he is a boxing fan and his favourite film is Sylvester Stallone-starrer Rocky (1976). He also went on to say that Lord’s is his favourite ground, where he scored 103 runs in the first innings of the first Test against England. When asked about his favourite cricketer, Dhawan said it was none other than the master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Dhawan has featured in 87 ODI’s and has amassed 3721 runs at an average of 45.37, which comprises of 11 centuries and 21 fifties.

In Test matches, the southpaw has notched 1822 runs from 26 matches at an impressive average of 43.38.

He still has a long way to go and we wish he continues to score runs and picks up awards as that will benefit the future of Indian cricket.
