Caught on Cam: Frustrated Virat Kohli kicks the ball out of boundary, almost hits the ball boy | Watch Video

The ball boy was trying to pick the ball up. He dodged quickly and had a narrow escape from being hit by Virat Kohli's kick

It is interesting to watch Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s reactions on the field during any match. His face and actions always reveal what he feels at the moment. Whenever he plays, he is completely committed to his game.  In case of any on-field mistakes, he reacts immediately without caring about the presence of cameras. Currently, the Indian cricket team is playing the first Test of the 3-match series against Sri Lanka at Galle. During Sri Lanka’s first innings, Upul Tharanga drove a delivery by Umesh Yadav towards the cover while Virat Kohli hurdled quickly to stop the ball which had been rapidly rushing towards the boundary. Kohli tried to run as hard as he could to stop the ball’s progression, however, it rolled with a great momentum and touched the boundary line before he could reach it.

Virat got frustrated when he lost the chance to save the boundary. Meanwhile, a ball boy was trying to pick the ball up, but before he could grab it Virat reached there and kicked the ball away in angst. The ball boy dodged and had a narrow escape from being hit by that kick.

Earlier on Day 1, Virat Kohli elected to bat first after winning the toss. Opener Shikhar Dhawan smashed a swashbuckling knock of 190 runs while Cheteshwar Pujara scored 153 runs. Also, with Ajinkya Rahane’s 57 and Hardik Pandya’s maiden Test half-century, Indians could successfully put a grand total of 600 runs on the scoreboard by day two.

With only 10 men on their side (as Asela Gunaratne was injured during the game and then dropped), Rangana Herath & Co. collapsed at 291 runs while Team India was 109 runs ahead.
