India vs Bangladesh: Kuldeep Yadav will debut replacing an injured Mishra

Find out how Amit Mishra's loss could be Kuldeep Yadav's gain.

Somebodys gain can be someones loss! In this case it fits in aptly, three days ahead of the solitary Test against Bangladesh, Amit Mishra has pulled out citing a knee injury.

Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav gets the nod ahead of others because of his dream run in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. Kuldeep plays for KKR in the IPL. He has been in the reckoning for the last two seasons without making it to the Test side.

The 22-year old chinaman would be looking to cement his spot with a good performance in the one-off Test.

According to a statement Mishra made, he needs more time to recover. As of now, more tests and examinations have to be done.

Mishra, who was a part of the 16-member squad was not available for the morning practice today. That is when the management found out his condition.

Mishra was also not included in the first T20I against England, but he played a pivotal role in the next two matches, helping India clinch the series.

The leggie has also been out-of favour for the Test matches and was only included when in-form Jayant Yadav picked up a hamstring injury.

Kuldeep Yadav, hailing from Uttar Pradesh would be loong to make a ammends when he gets the red cherry in his hands. Yadav has come up the hard way, overcoming hurdles that came in his way.

India will start the solitary Test as clear favourites after their thumping victory against England.

Can Kuldeep Yadav make it a memorable debut for himself?
