MS Dhoni's rare disappointed face captured on cam after he misses easy stumping of Aaron Finch — Watch Video

This missed chance made Team India pay a heavy price as Aron Finch went ahead to score 94 runs off 96 balls and MS Dhoni was not at all happy with that

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has established a good reputation for being behind the stumps, wearing his wicket-keeping gloves. His lightning-fast stumping has hardly spared any batsman who has stepped out of the batting crease. However, in the fourth ODI against Australia in Bangalore, MS Dhoni missed a chance to stump out Aaron Finch while the ball rolled down towards the third-man region for four extra runs.

In the 23rd over, the Australians were at 137/0 and the spinner Chahal was on the attack. Both the Aussie openers – Aaron Finch and David Warner – were playing exceptionally well while Indian team was desperately looking for their first breakthrough. The second ball of the over was slightly flighty and Finch was dissuaded by the dip on the delivery which he had expected to be a spin. He moved down the ground to hit a biggie but he was beaten on the inside edge and past the leg-stump. MS Dhoni, too, missed catching the ball and it went out for a four. Dhoni expected that the spinning ball would turn but it went straight past him and to the boundary.

This missed chance proved to be a heavy price that Team India paid as Aaron Finch went ahead to score 94 runs off 96 balls. MS Dhoni was not at all happy with that miss and his facial expressions revealed his disappointment.

Earlier today, Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat first. As the Men in Blue have as such won the series, they decided to drop their star bowlers including Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah and tried Mohammad Shami, Axar Patel, and Umesh Yadav.

The Aussies had an extraordinary start. The opening pair put 231 runs on the scoreboard before the first wicket fell down. David Warner, who was playing his 100th ODI, scored a phenomenal century and ended up scoring 124 off 119 runs including 4 sixes and 12 boundaries.
