MS Dhoni instructs, Hardik Pandya follows, and Aaron Finch gets out in the 5th ODI -- Watch Video

Once again MS Dhoni's instructions from behind the stumps to Hardik Pandya helped Team India earning the crucial wicket of David Warner who scored 50 in the 5th ODI in Nagpur

After losing the 4th ODI in Bangalore by 21 runs, Virat Kohli & Co. entered the Nagpur stadium with only mission to end the series on a winning note. Also, players like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav, who were dropped from the Bangalore ODI, were brought back in the team for the final showdown.

On the other hand, both the Aussies openers – Aaron Finch and David Warner – had shown their form in the last two ODIs and were expected to repeat their destructive batting in this game as well. However, this time they had a slow but steady start. By the end of 10 overs, the Aussies had scored 60 runs without losing a wicket.

Then came most favourite Indian cricketer of the recent times to get the first breakthrough. Hardik Pandya came to deliver the 12th over. It was the third ball of the over when Finch had the strike. MS Dhoni asked Pandya to bowl a full length and said,”Isko thoda aage daal.” As instructed by Dhoni, Pandya bowled a full-length delivery which Finch lofted towards the mid-off.

Bumrah ran towards that region but doesn’t grab the ball at first. But then the ball lobbed off his body, then hit his thigh and lobbed up. Bumrah then somehow got his right-hand across and took the catch.

Indian cricket team got the first wicket after Australia had scored 66 runs in 11.3 balls.

Earlier today, Aussie skipper Steven Smith won the third toss in this ODI series and elected to bat first. By the time of filing this story, Australia had scored 179/4 in 39 overs.
