Apart from his destructive batting, star Australian opener David Warner never leaves any chance to set an example of true sportsman spirit. Doesn’t matter which team is he playing against, his dedication towards the sport remains above all. In the fourth ODI against India, Warner came out on the field to represent Australia for the 100th time in his career and the way he batted was simply swashbuckling.
He ruined the Indian bowling attack and scored a century. He became the first Aussie player to score a 100 on his 100th ODI. The left-handed batsman scored 124 off 119 balls with the help of 12 fours and four sixes. He also hit a 107 meter long six to Axar Patel which almost had left the stadium. However, when he was at the crease, one of his actions will always be remembered for his sportsmanship.
While delivering the over number 28 of the first inning, Hardik Pandya lost the grip from the ball and it slipped out of his hands. Suddenly, Warner rushed towards the dropped ball and picked it up and gave it back to Pandya.

Warner’s this activity has to be praised. This is not the first that Warner helped a player from the opponent team while batting. Earlier this year, during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, he helped Gujarat Lions’ bowler Basil Thampi with his show while taking a quick single.
Young Basil Thampi was bowling to Moises Henriques and that is when Thampi tripped over and lost his footwear that is when David Warner who was at non-striker’s end, picked up his shoes and returned it to him while crossing over for a single. It was a moment one will remember and have a laugh about forever, it was one of those moments.
