India lifts the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after beating Australia by 8 wickets in the 4th and the final game in Dharamsala and locked the series by 2-1

After a very tough and competitive series of 4 Tests in India vs Australia Border-Gavaskar trophy, finally, India lifts the cup after beating Australia by 8 wickets in the 4th  and the final game in Dharamsala and locked the series by 2-1. Ravindra Jadeja was nominated as the Man of the Match and Man of the Series as well for taking 25 wickets in the match. And now, after lifting the cup the entire team is on cloud 9 as they are still on the top of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings.

The series was not at all easy for the hosts and the guests as well. A crucial series for Team India which started with a loss in Pune but the price was paid and the series was levelled in Bangalore in the sec0nd game. The third one in Ranchi was a neck-to-neck fight and ended in a draw. But in the last game in Dharamsala, the performance of the Indian squad was exceptionally good with several half centuries from the batsmen, phenomenal spells from the bowlers and the surprise package which got revealed in the last match, debutant Kuldeep Yadav’s magical spell.

The series remained highly entertaining with lots of high-quality cricket coming out it along with several heated instances.
