Gautam Gambhir opened a community kitchen in Delhi’s West Patel Nagar area under the campaign ‘Ek Asha’ aimed at feeding the poor. Shah Rukh took to his Twitter and asked his Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir how could he add to the initiative.

Earlier, KKR skipper Gambhir took to his official Twitter handle to announce the launch of his campaign ‘Ek Asha’.

“Won World Cups, Won IPLs, beaten opponents. Now time 2 win hearts & beat hunger. Community Kitchen #1 by Gautam Gambhir Foundation,” Gambhir posted on his Twitter page.

In an another tweet, he wrote: “Compassion in my heart, a plate in my hand and a prayer on my lips ‘No one should sleep hungry’ #ggf #communitykitchen1.”

Soon after Gambhir’s tweet, Shah Rukh, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Jab Harry Met Sejal, immediately posted on his Twitter page: “Let me know my Captain how I can be of use to ur initiative. Bless u.”
