Gurkeerat Singh Mann's century celebration in Ranji Trophy match will make you ROFL! — Watch Video

Gurkeerat Singh Mann surprised everyone around him with his unique celebration after scoring a century against Chattisgarh

Punjab’s middle order batsman Gurkeerat Mann scored a splendid century against Chhattisgarh in Ranji Trophy season 2017-18. But it was not his century that hogged the limelight but the way the all-rounder celebrated it. As touched the century, Mann lifting his bat acknowledging (like everyone does) his teammates in the dressing room. But then, while at it, Mann left his bat on the ground and then abruptly, laid down on the ground as if he was posing! At this point, his teammate Anmolpreet Singh was obviously puzzled.

In fact, not just Singh, even Chhattisgarh wicketkeeper Manoj Singh looked amused by the unusual celebration by the 27-year-old.

Here’s the video of the bizarre celebration:

Mann shared a partnership of 230 runs for the fourth wicket with Anmolpreet who went on to score 267 runs from 262 balls in the first innings. Mann scored at a strike rate of 99.11 which featured 17 fours. Whereas Anmolpreet struck 4 sixes and 32 fours scoring at an impressive strike rate of 101.91. This partnership got Punjab into a position where they could dictate terms in the match.

Punjab scored 653 for 9 before declaring their first innings. They got a substantial lead of 425 in the first innings which did not allow Chhattisgarh to make a comeback. After getting out for 238 runs in the first innings due to a top order batting collapse, Chhattisgarh could not recover in the second innings. They were bundled out for 297 runs as Punjab won the match by an innings and 118 runs.
