Gautam Gambhir, apart from being an international cricketer, is also a father of two daughters – Aazeen and Anaiza. Recently he paid a visit to her elder daughter, Aazeen’s school where he participated in an interesting game. The school administration organised a father versus daughter duel on the cricket field and Gambhir had to take part in that.
Gambhir faced her daughters Azeen’s bowling while other kids and school teachers were cheering the daughter-father duo. The moment was shot on camera and Gambhir took to his Twitter account to share the video. Gambhir wrote,”High pressure job facing my daughter Aazeen’s bowling at her school. Gautam Gambhir is currently playing the Ranji Trophy matches for the Delhi. A few days ago, he witnessed an incident in which a drunken man drove his car into the cricket field where a Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh was taking place.
A picture of that incident also surfaced on the social media where Delhi skipper Ishant Sharma could be seen along with Gambhir. The incident happened in the Palam cricket ground as the match couldn’t be organised in Feroz Shah Kotla.
Later, the man was nabbed by police. During the interrogation, the mn who drove the car said that he didn’t find any security after which he lost his way and entered into the ground. The BCCI has also condemned the act and had assured enquiry into the incident.
