The Australian opener has not been in deadly form in the India series but would be raring to kick off Ashes in style. David Warner was appointed the captain of the Australian team in absence of Steve Smith. He fared rather well as the captain, sharing the T20I trophy with Virat Kohli. Australia will have their noses in front when they lock horns against England during the Ashes. But this English team are no pushovers and they have proved it time and again the recent past. The question mark over Ben Stokes availability for the Ashes is what is hogging the limelight ahead of the Ashes, as he is a game changer for England. England does not have a record to boast off, playing the Ashes in Australia. The visitors have been whitewashed in their past two Ashes series’ in Australia.
England would certainly like to rectify that. In the meanwhile, David Warner spent his free time off cricket with his kids and they had fun. The kids of David Warner were seen doing skating with their dad on the streets. It was an adorable picture and a sight to behold. Warner posted the picture on his Instagram page and wrote, “On your marks, get set, Goooooooo, I win.”
