CPL T20 2017: Fabian Allen flies like airplane to grab 'Most Difficult' catch to dismiss Jason Mohammed | WATCH VIDEO

This amazing catch amused every St Kitts player on the field, especially Hasan Ali, who got the wicket while Jason Mohammed had to walk back to the pavilion after scoring 41 runs

Fabian Allen has proved that he is the ‘Superman’ of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 2017. During match number 4 of the tournament between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Guyana Amazon Warriors, he took a stunning catch which could well be included as one of the most incredible catches in the game of cricket. Though he was not initially included in the St Kitts playing XI and was called to field as a substitute, his supernatural efforts across the boundary line stunned each and every cricket fan present there.

In the second innings, the Amazon Warriors were chasing a target of 133 runs. In the 17th over, when they needed 31 from 24 balls to win, St Kitts bowler Hasan Ali bowled a full-length delivery to set batsman Jason Mohammed which he slashed hard towards the boundary in the direction of the deep extra cover region. Substitute fielder Fabien Allen came running from the cover boundary to stop the ball.

He speculated the ball to not an easy one to stop and hence, he jumped forward, stretched his arm and plucked the ball from thin air. This amazing catch amused every St Kitts player on the field, especially Hasan Ali, who got the wicket while Jason Mohammed had to walk back to the pavilion after scoring 41 runs.

Later, the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots narrowly won the game by 4 runs. They have played 2 games in this tournament so far and have won both of them. They are leading in the table with 4 points while the Guyana Amazon Warriors are currently at the second last position in the league.

The knockouts of CPL 2017 will be played on September 5, 6 and 7 while the final game is scheduled on September 9 which will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.
