The moment is upon us, it is the epic clash of India vs Pakistan we have all been waiting for. Welcome to inUth’s live digital coverage of India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Final at Kennington, Oval, London. There have been enough trash talks from former players with Aamer Sohail claiming that Pakistan was helped by external forces to reach the final due to external forces. But, that does not matter today as what happens on the field will matter and decide whether India retains the title or Pakistan rise to the occasion and complete their fairytale run in the tournament.

How important will the toss be?

It has been a ritual in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 that whichever captain wins the toss will elect to bowl first. Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed too revealed in the press conference that he would like to chase as they have won a few in the tournament while fielding first.

How will the pitch behave?

The pitch is a batting paradise. India has scored 300 plus scores batting here. However, it depends on which pitch they chose to play on. But, as far as previous results of the tournament are considered. It is supposed to help the batsmen.

Will rain play spoilsport in the final?

Well, there is good news as far as the weather forecast is concerned as it shows that the weather at Kennington Oval will be sunny for the most parts of the day. Though it is expected to be cloudy for a few hours, there are no major threats to the game as a rain shower is least expected.

Any changes in the winning combination?

Kohli in the pre-match press conference rubbished the speculations of Mohammed Shami replacing Hardik Pandya who was picked off for too many runs in the semi-final against Bangladesh. But, he has backed Pandya’s ability to finish the games and also his skill with the ball. It is much likely that Kohli will go with the winning combination.

Though Ahmed hinted a few changes in the playing XI in the pre-match press conference. With Mohammad Amir fit to play he is more likely to replace Fahim Ashraf. Shadab Khan too is expected to replace Rumaan Raees in the playing XI.
