Virat Kohli played superbly today against Pakistan where he hit 3 humongous sixes and 6 phenomenal boundaries. He remained not out till the last ball of the inning and ended up scoring 81 runs off 68 balls

The much awaited India vs Pakistan game in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 on June 4 kickstarted in one of the best ways it could. The expectation levels were very high and the way Indian batting line-up performed, they simply gave us goosebumps with their show. Starting from Shikhar Dhawan’s 68 off 65 balls to Hardik Pandya’s 6 balls 20 runs, it was a complete package of world class cricket which happened in Edgbaston, Birmingham. Every player who came into bat on the field made the most of this match. Especially, skipper Virat Kohli who made every Pakistani player realise that it’s not at all easy to challenge India anywhere in the world.

Virat came into bat as usual at number 3 after the dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan at 68 runs. The score was 136 for 1 after 24.3 overs and the rain was playing a game of ‘hide and seek’ every now and then. Though his ‘wrong call’ led to Rohit’s run out but it seems he realised his mistake, if there was any.

Virat Kohli led from the front and added 54 runs with Rohit Sharma for the 2nd wicket while a big 93 runs partnership was built between him and Yuvraj Singh. Later he continued his batting with Hardik Pandya who came in at number 5 and both added another 34 runs for the 4th wicket.

Kohli played superbly today against Pakistan where he hit 3 humongous sixes and 6 phenomenal boundaries. He remained not out till the last ball of the inning and ended up scoring 81 runs off 68 balls.

Meanwhile, Twitter was full of praises for the captain fearless and whatever they said was worth reading.
