ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Faf du Plessis predicts the finalists. Are you surprised?

ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Faf du Plessis said as reported by bdcrictime.com, “That will be my final. England are the form team but India know how to win

Faf du Plessis could now be blamed for their early exit from the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. They lost to India in a match that could have gone either ways had Faf not lost his mind to run AB de Villiers out. This is the third time these two players have been involved in a runout with eachother in a ICC match. Now, if that happens how do you expect to win considering one of your big players is out in the quest of a single. Now that they are out, we finally have the four semi finalists. In semi-final 1 England take on Pakistan and in the other semi finals India take on Bangladesh. Three Asian teams have made the knockout cut. It could very well be a India v Pakistasn finals and that is exactly what the cricket fanatics from both nations would be expecting. But it could also be a India v England final, a repeat of the 2013 Finale. All permutation combinations are possible.

In the meanwhile, Faf du Plessis has gone the Shane Warne way and predicted the finalists and we are just not surprised as that is the obvious case but knowing Pakistan and Bangladesh, they are well equipped to cause an upset and they have shown that in the past.

This is what Faf du Plessis said as reported by bdcrictime.com, “That will be my final. England are the form team but India know how to win big games.”

So are we surprised, I think very few would be but yes can somebody have the guts to predict the ultimate winner as both the teams are packed with heavyweights. Even if that final happens, it will be an apt finale as both the teams have played good cricket consistently in the tournament in all the three aspects, batting, bowling and fielding.
