360-Degree View Of Pune's Cricket Museum Out There For All Fans

Cricket fans out there can now get a 360-degree view of Pune’s touted cricket museum ‘‘Blades of Glory’. The museum has been added to the Google Art and Culture platform, an online initiative to access high-resolution images of artworks housed in their partner museums.
Started by former U-19 Maharashtra cricket player Rohan Pate, the museum features a rare collection of cricket bats, balls and jersey of senior cricketers. From bats used by Sir Vivian Richards to Kapil Dev, the museum has a collection of about 30,000 equipments used in cricket history. “I feel extremely honoured and grateful that ‘Blades of Glory’ has been accredited by Google. This is a huge accolade and it will help fans around the world get acquainted with the museum,” Pate told The Hindu.
Inaugurated by Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in 2012, the museum has been visited by cricketers including VVS Laxman, Virat Kohli, Wasim Akram, and Virendra Sehwag.
