Cricket fans need to understand boundaries.Period. After a fan tried to kiss Virat Kohli in the 2nd Test, Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma was subjected to harassment on field.
During the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarter final match between Mumbai and Jharkhand, a fan climbed the barricades and ran towards Rohit. At first, he tried to touch Rohit’s feet. But then he forcibly hugged the Indian opener and tried to kiss him. The fan made a couple of attempts to kiss Rohit. This led to Rohit trying to push the fan away and maintain some distance.

The drama continued for a while but security was nowhere to be seen. Even though it was a Vijay Hazare Trophy (domestic) fixture but players’ safety should be take care of, that too of international players.
Fans invading the pitch in India has become too common these days. An FIR was filed against the fan who tried to kiss Kohli. We are yet to receive any news against the fan who tried to kiss Rohit. He was seen running towards his spot in the crowd and high-fiving his buddy.
