The latest teaser of Anushka Sharma’s much-anticipated movie, Pari is out. If the motion-poster, with bloody bruises on Anushka’s face left you horrified, and at the same time wanting more, this one would leave you impatient for March 2.
If you weren’t convinced yet that Indian horror movies can be scary, this one definitely looks set to dispel that myth. With the latest teaser, the expectations from the movie have been raised. Apart from Anushka, Pari stars Rajat Kapoor, Ritabhari Chakraborty and Kahaani-fame Parambrata Chatterjee.
A supernatural horror, which marks Prosenjit Roy’s Bollywood directorial debut, Pari is Anushka’s foray into horror cinema. And the experiment seems worth it.

The latest teaser it shows a pajama-clad Anushka sitting on a bed watching cartoon on television. Only what seems like a normal Saturday night ritual for most millennials quickly turns into something more sinister. The camera slowly pans on her handcuffs, chained feet, bruises and scratches all over her body. The 30-seconds teaser ends with a VFX shot we thought had died with the horror film genre popularised by the Ramsay brothers. Nope, we won’t give any spoilers out.
