Australia captain Steve Smith and coach Darren Lehmann speak after arriving in Mumbai, addressing Kohli, wickets and game plans.

It is going to be the most awaited-battle in Test cricket during recent times. India, who is at numero uno spot in the ICC ratings, will take on the mighty Australians at home, conditions that will test the visitors.

The four-Test matches series commences from the 23rd of February in Pune.

India beat Bangladesh yesterday and will get ready in time to take on Australia soon.

On the other hand, there has been a lot of talk about the visitors and their concrete game plans.

Team Australia finally arrived in Mumbai and at the first press conference Steven Smith ‘ducked’ the game plan against Kohli, highlighting the fear Australians have against the Indian ace batsman.

When asked about the Australian plan, Steve Smith said, ” We have plans but will not disclose them, of course, he is a world class player and is having a great run, smashing four double tons spread across four series”.

He also spoke about the Indian team, hailed them as ‘good’. He also said, ” India have a great top 6, most of them are in good form”.

Smith added, ” We have to keep it tight not allow any freedom, be disciplined and hopefully that will pay off. Timing is important we have to know when to attack and when to take the foot of the pedal and I think I learnt a bit about it in Sri Lanka. Our individuals will play the best cricket they know”.

Finally he spoke on the banters on field, he said, ” If it gets the best out of a certain cricketer then he should go about doing it”.
