Sidharth Malhotra will share the screen space with Jacqueline Fernandez in the upcoming film A Gentleman, whose motion poster was unveiled on Monday. The 22-second promo features Sidharth brandishing a revolver and Jackie holding a white rose. The film releases on August 25 this year.
“This is undoubtedly the coolest film of the year!! Way to go @S1dharthM @Asli_Jacqueline,” Karan Johar tweeted. Earlier, there were reports that the film was supposed to be a sequel to 2014 dud Bang Bang that starred Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. But all your doubts have been cleared and the poster indicates that the flick will have some real action.
As far as reports are concerned, Sidharth plays Gaurav who is content with a 9-5 job. He is in love with Kavya (Jacqueline) who wants him to take a risk in his life. However, fate has something else in store as Gaurav is taken to Miami. Earlier titled Reload, the action-comedy film has been written and directed by Raj and DK.

Sidharth was last seen in 2016 romantic drama Baar Baar Dekho opposite Katrina Kaif. He will be seen in Ittefaq opposite Sonakshi Sinha. The film is a remake of the 1969 of the same name that featured Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Bindu in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline will be seen in David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 that features his son Varun Dhawan in the titular role. Taapsee Pannu is the second female lead in the comedy film. It is the sequel to 1997 film starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
